How it works

A quiet backup that catches the work.

Your assistant sits on top of how you already run. It answers when your team can't, learns from your own website, and hands every enquiry straight to you.

Good evening, you’ve reached Dale’s Plumbing & Heating. How can I help?
Hi, my boiler’s just cut out. Any chance of tomorrow morning?
We can do that. There’s a slot at 9:30am. Shall I book you in?
Yes please.

Booked: tomorrow, 9:30am

The idea

An invisible backup, not a change to your business.

Your number, your website and your staff stay the same. Your assistant only steps in to catch what would otherwise slip away, the call no one reached, the 11pm chat, the web form that would sit unanswered.

What it handles

Three channels, one assistant.

Answers the calls you can't get to

When your team can't reach the phone, because you're on the tools, up a ladder or already on another call, your assistant answers instead. It greets the caller, answers from the facts you've verified, and either books the job onto a connected calendar or takes their name, the job and when they want someone out, then sends it straight to you.

What you get: Calls your team can't get to are handled, not lost to the next builder.

Handles website chat around the clock

The same assistant sits on your website and talks to the person weighing up a quote at 11pm. It answers their questions, captures their details and, where a supported calendar is connected, books the job, so a late-night enquiry is still there in the morning.

What you get: Night-time enquiries are captured, not gone by the time you wake up.

Texts new web leads back fast

When someone fills in your quote form and ticks the consent box, your assistant texts them back within seconds, while they're still thinking about the job. To keep things above board, that first message says who it's from and how to opt out.

What you get: You reach the lead first, before they've finished shortlisting.

How your assistant learns

No coding. Set up in three steps.

01

Pick a voice

Choose a warm, natural voice. You can name your assistant whatever suits your business.

02

Point it at your website

It reads and learns your services, hours and service area straight from your site.

03

Fill the gaps

You add anything not on the site, like pricing or an emergency policy, so it answers from verified facts and hands off rather than guessing.

A clean split

You keep working. We run the assistant.

You do

  • Set a simple call-forwarding code from your carrier.
  • Paste one line of widget code on your site, or email it to whoever runs the site.
  • That's it. No new carrier, no rebuild.

We handle

  • Build and train your assistant on your business.
  • Set up the voice, the calendar booking or hand-off, and the chat widget.
  • Set up text-back once your messaging setup is verified.
  • Monitor it and keep it tuned.

The setup, step by step

Honest about what goes live, and when.

Phone, in backup mode

You keep your exact number, phone system and business cards. A quick call-forwarding code from your carrier takes a few minutes to set up.

Your assistant only answers when your team can't. If someone's at the desk at 2pm they answer as they always have. At 7pm when the office is empty, your assistant steps in and takes the lead.

Texting, for speed to lead

When a customer fills in your quote form and ticks the consent box, the system texts them back within seconds. The first message names the sender and gives a clear way to opt out.

We verify the sender and messaging setup before text-back goes live. The checks and timing depend on the number and messaging provider, and we confirm what applies during setup. In practice the phone side is typically live quickly, and texting goes live once your setup is verified.

Above board

It answers from facts, and says so.

Your assistant answers only from the facts you've verified, and hands off rather than guessing. Callers are told an assistant is handling the call. Texts name the sender and include an opt-out, consent is recorded and opt-outs are honoured. It doesn't collect payment-card or medical details.

How it greets a caller

Hello, you've reached [Business]. I'm their virtual assistant. This call may be transcribed to help with your enquiry. How can I help?

If a client turns on call recording, the greeting says the call will be recorded and why.

Frequently asked questions

Will I lose calls my own staff should be answering?
No. It runs in backup mode, so it only answers when no one on your team picks up, after hours or when the line is busy. When your people can answer, they answer exactly as they do now.
When does the texting go live?
The phone side is typically live quickly once call forwarding is set. Texting runs through a messaging provider that we verify first, so it goes live once your setup is checked. We tell you what applies to your number during setup, and we never promise a specific date.
Do I have to change my number or phone provider?
No. You keep your number, your phone system and your business cards. Setup is a short call-forwarding code from your existing carrier.
Will it make things up about my business?
It's designed to answer only from the facts you've verified. It reads your website, then you fill any gaps such as pricing or an emergency policy. If it doesn't know something, it's set up to hand off to you rather than guess.
What does it do with a caller's details?
It captures the name, the job and when they want someone out, then passes that to you or books it onto a connected calendar. Callers are told an assistant is handling the call. We keep records for a limited period and delete them on request. See our privacy policy for how data is handled.
What does £397 a month cover?
Phone answering in backup mode, the website chat widget, missed-call and form text-back, plus setup, training and ongoing management, for one location, under a fair-use policy sized for normal single-location trade volume.
